Counting Crows are a US rock band. Formed by singer Adam Duritz in 1991, they gained popularity after the release of their debut album “August and Everything After” in 1994. The first single off the album, “Mr Jones”, was an enormous hit on MTV and drew massive radio play. “August and Everything After” went on to become the fastest-selling album since Nirvana’s “Nevermind”. Ever since the inception of the band, Counting Crows have focused on their live performances, and have often undertaken punishing touring schedules in support of their albums. Known as one of the best live acts in the world, they have continued to release critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums.
